The Savage Disciples is another uneven series for me. Some I have liked, some not so much. This book falls right in the middle.
Evie wants Stone. Stone wants Evie. What’s keeping them apart? Stone’s stubborn insistence that he is too old and too biker for her. So that is kind of… boring. The only thing keeping the hero and heroine apart is the hero’s self-imposed martyrdom. And while it was done well, Stone’s struggle with himself and the sacrifices his lifestyle has forced on him, it wasn’t enough to build a whole plot on. 3 stars.
