my kingdom for a hannukah themed romance

There’s Lighting the Flames by Sarah Wendell and the Burning Bright collection by Megan Hart, KK Hendin, Stacey Agdern and Jennifer Gracen. I think they’re all novellas.

@curliestofcrowns I am actually working on last stage edits of my Hanukkah-themed romance novelette, Eight Secret Nights!  (It was formerly in an anthology, but I’ve expanded it and am putting it back up for sale.)

SBTB posted a list of Chanukah-themed romances some years ago, here, before Sarah Wendell wrote Lighting the Flames. I’ve read Judith Arnold’s novella from the Burning Bright anthology mentioned there (not the same as above despite the title). I’ll just copy my mini-review from another post:

“It’s brisk and readable, slanting a bit toward the paranormal. What I liked best was the heroine, a no-nonsense, competent small-town journalist who calmly refuses to be intimidated by the big-city lawyer hero who tries to get her to back off from a story that might ruin a relative of his. Over the secrets of latkes and the mysteries of fitting candles into the heroine’s heirloom menorah they gradually begin to thaw toward each other. The resolution is rather pat, though entirely in the spirit of the season.“

Good luck with your novelette, @rosefyrefyre! Would you mind tagging me when it’s available?
