How you can help your favorite musician/band without spending money!

Do you listen to a musician/band that you want more people to hear?

Do you want them to keep making that music you love and make money on the content they work so hard on?

Are you low on funds and can’t afford to purchase their merch or music?

Then do I have a great solution for you! Create a unique social media post about them or a playlists with their music in it or even like and share their posts regularly.

Modern algorithms on all major platforms which promote music or content to new viewers/listeners. Look for how much interaction their posts and music get, even if the views/streams are low.

Things like shares, likes, creating playlists, unique posts with their name or links to their content, comments, and watching/listening to their content from start to finish could help them more then buying all their merch or music.

This may be obvious but so many people consume content they love without ever doing any of these things, and it is free! If you enjoyed something someone else did, even a little and you can’t buy what they create. Give it a like, share it, interact with it. It helps them, motivates them, and tells the platform they are on “This content is something more people will like.” My rule is if I listen to something more then once or it makes me feel something, I gotta interact with it somehow.

I think a lot of people struggle financially and want to support their favorite musicians/bands or just anyone that creates something they enjoy but can’t. Just interact with and/or share their content, it will help them more then you know. It could motivate them to keep making something you love and best of all it is free!

Let’s show the world that artists, musicians/bands, and just anyone that creates content that we enjoy should keep creating and make money off of their passions!

If someone’s content has helped you, made you happy, or entertained you even a little. Do one of these things today. If you agree, share, reblog, or even copy this post. We have to show them their content is valuable even if we can’t help them financially.

Thank you!

Please take the time to read this and share! It could make a huge difference for someone that is struggling.

Currently Reading: The Spell Book of the Lost and Found by Moira Fowley-Doyle! I just finished Miles Morales: Spiderman yesterday evening, and I really enjoyed it. Give me all the superhero novels I can read! Now, on down the library stack, I go! Again, @mrfidler picked this one for me, and I’m so stoked. First of all, look at that cover! It’s so pretty and autumn-like. And second of all, Moira won my heart last year when we read The Accident Season for our library book club. I’m not even one hundred pages in, and I’m absolutely sold! You could say that I’m spellbound! (Pun fully intended, sorry, not sorry.) Shout out to my local library for hooking me up! What are you guys currently reading this week?

Currently Reading: Return to the Isle of the Lost by @melissadelacruz! I just started this book yesterday, and I’m really enjoying it. I mean, baby Disney villains reforming into good guys? Yes, give it to me! I’m about halfway through it, and I’m really enjoying it. This prequel series to the Descendants movies is so cute. I know, it seems lame, but whatever. Slap Disney on something and I’m all over it. Yay for sequels! (I’m also super stoked for The Rise of the Isle of the Lost!) What are you guys currently reading this week?
