How you can help your favorite musician/band without spending money!
Do you listen to a musician/band that you want more people to hear?
Do you want them to keep making that music you love and make money on the content they work so hard on?
Are you low on funds and can’t afford to purchase their merch or music?
Then do I have a great solution for you! Create a unique social media post about them or a playlists with their music in it or even like and share their posts regularly.
Modern algorithms on all major platforms which promote music or content to new viewers/listeners. Look for how much interaction their posts and music get, even if the views/streams are low.
Things like shares, likes, creating playlists, unique posts with their name or links to their content, comments, and watching/listening to their content from start to finish could help them more then buying all their merch or music.
This may be obvious but so many people consume content they love without ever doing any of these things, and it is free! If you enjoyed something someone else did, even a little and you can’t buy what they create. Give it a like, share it, interact with it. It helps them, motivates them, and tells the platform they are on “This content is something more people will like.” My rule is if I listen to something more then once or it makes me feel something, I gotta interact with it somehow.
I think a lot of people struggle financially and want to support their favorite musicians/bands or just anyone that creates something they enjoy but can’t. Just interact with and/or share their content, it will help them more then you know. It could motivate them to keep making something you love and best of all it is free!
Let’s show the world that artists, musicians/bands, and just anyone that creates content that we enjoy should keep creating and make money off of their passions!
If someone’s content has helped you, made you happy, or entertained you even a little. Do one of these things today. If you agree, share, reblog, or even copy this post. We have to show them their content is valuable even if we can’t help them financially.
Please take the time to read this and share! It could make a huge difference for someone that is struggling.
